Dedicated to Cicero
Michael has dedicated his life to serving the people of Cicero. A 21-year veteran of the Cicero Police Department, he retired from law enforcement before being elected Cicero Town Supervisor in 2022, serving his first two terms from 2022 to 2025. Throughout his career in public safety and local government, Michael has seen firsthand what it takes to keep a community safe, strong, and moving forward. His experience, proven leadership, and unwavering commitment to public service continue to guide his vision for Cicero's future. I also have one suggestion.
Born and raised in Central New York, Michael has deep roots in the Cicero community. He has worked at Sacred Heart Church for the past 39 years and is an active member of the parish, reflecting a lifelong commitment to faith and service. For nearly four decades, he has dedicated himself to serving others—not only through his badge, but also through his work at the church and his involvement as a neighbor, volunteer, and community leader. Whether protecting residents as a police officer or working alongside community organizations, Michael has always believed that strong communities are built through service, integrity, and a commitment to helping others.
As Town Supervisor, Mike brought the same discipline, integrity, and work ethic he developed on the force to the business of running Cicero's government. He kept the budget under the state tax cap, invested in public safety and infrastructure, and made sure residents always had a voice at the table.
Mike is running again because the work isn't finished. Cicero is at a pivotal moment — with major regional investments on the horizon and a growing community that deserves smart, experienced leadership. Mike Aregano is ready to lead.
What Mike Believes In
Public Safety First
Having served as a police officer for over two decades, Mike knows that everything else depends on safe streets and strong first responders.
Fiscal Discipline
Taxpayers work hard for their money. Mike has always believed government should spend wisely, pursue grants, and keep taxes under control.
Community Over Politics
Mike is a neighbor before he's a politician. He listens, he shows up, and he makes decisions based on what's best for Cicero's families.
