How to Register to Vote
New York State residents can register to vote online, by mail, or in person. You must be a U.S. citizen, at least 18 years old on Election Day, and a resident of Onondaga County for at least 30 days before the election.

Ways to Vote
Vote on Election Day
Polls are open from 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM on November 3, 2026. Bring a valid photo ID or proof of address if it is your first time voting at your polling place.
Early Voting
Early voting is available October 24 – November 1, 2026 at designated locations throughout Onondaga County. No excuse needed — just show up.
Absentee Ballot
Any registered voter may request an absentee ballot. Request by mail by October 27, or in person at the Board of Elections by November 2, 2026.
